I'm
on this web-page again, even though my beloved Sadie Bunnikins had to
be put down over a year ago. Home Made 4 Life extended her life by several
years. She suffered terribly from allergies, getting a very bloated and
painful stomach and lots of ear infections. She gained a completely new
lease on life with her raw food diet.
The
only reason she regressed is because we had 10 cats in the house, and
we just couldn't completely keep her out of their food. That's what killed
her in the end, despite our best efforts.
I'll
never forget how great Pets 4 Life's staff always were in providing advice
and support. I just recommended this web-site to a friend, because I've
seen so many dogs suffering from allergies that I believe are caused by
commercial pet foods.

I gave my dogs the lamb mix tonight, and at first I must say I was tempted to put a little in the frying pan for myself. It smells DELICIOUS! and the dogs Loved it. No doubt in my mind this by far the best food I have ever fed them. I don't know how you do it but count me as a life time customer! I can't tell you how good I feel knowing they are eating this product. I was always concerned that sometimes what a label and brochure said wasn't always what was inside. Hi
Trina and Jeni! After we received our first shipment of Home Made 4 Life
at the beginning of January, I wrote to you that Lupi was going NUTS over
the HM4L, and that she was "gobbling down each meal with gusto." If you
recall, we switched Lupi to raw in order to cleanse her of all the antibiotics
and other medications she's received over the past four years for Feline
Viral Rhinotracheitis with accompanying "chronic snotty nose." Lupi has
now been on the 100% raw diet for a month, and we've already noticed both
mental and physical changes. Lupi has always been a friendly, affectionate,
talkative little girl, but her vocalization and chatter, activity, and general
interactivity have increased considerably since she's been eating the raw
food. She's running and leaping around more, and is forever calling Paul,
Mickey and me to her "new discoveries" - her favorite chair that seems to
be missing her fleece blanket, the heavenly bathroom radiator, invisible
ghosties flying around the room and residing in different places on our
living room wall... She's much more persistent when she decides its time
for a good rubdown from her Daddy, chasing him around and hunting him down,
leaping to his shoulder when he least expects it! Physically, her beautiful,
dark eyes, have a new "wildness" to them. They're wide open, crystal clear
and alive. Lupi has always been a tiny cat, topping the scales at no more
than six pounds. She has always been muscular, but very trim in her physical
composition. She's always eaten voraciously, but never had that "healthy
layer of cat fat" that is always recommended, and she was forever hiding
in their bedding to stay warm. We got the impression that she was using
so much of her energy staying warm that little was left over to support
her immune system. Since switching her to raw food, we've noticed a slight
weight gain, and a more "solid" feel to her body, and she's spending more
time out in the open, with well-insulated Mickey, who, by the way, has trimmed
down and toned up a bit since we started adding the raw food to his diet.
He's looking less "pink and mushy" and more "pink and athletic"! Our thanks
to you and Jeni for inspiring us not to be satisfied with the status quo.
You've been so helpful to us, and we are eternally grateful for the care,
knowledge, and support you selflessly provided as we took the plunge into

The ferret in question is now showing strong improvement and increased energy and very increased appetite. Unfortunately, he won't eat the lamb but loves the chicken which, of course, I'm out of. He also will have nothing whatever to do with his old, preserved, toxic ferret food - smart little guy.

Early May 1999 I had a scare with FIP
that
eventually cost one of my 3 cats his life. My vet told me that nothing medically
could be done and I was overcome with a feeling of helplessness. This helplessness
became determination as I focused my efforts on what I could do to elevate
their health status. It was important to me that I was able to say I did
everything I could for them, no matter the outcome. I searched the web for
information and came across Trina's Pets 4 Life website. She replied to
my e-mail immediately and I quickly realized by her answers that she was
very knowledgeable about pet nutrition and fully stood behind her product.
I bought the HM4L pet food and started my cats on it righ

away. The transition, however, was not a smooth one and I think this was
because my cats sensed my nervousness about the change and knew that if
they wouldn't readily eat their new food, I'd replace it with the high sugar,
non-nutritious, "filler" commercial brand cat food that they were addicted
to. I was especially nervous that my 15 year old wouldn't switch to the
new diet because it's "hard to teach an old cat new tricks" and also because,
in addition to the FIP, she had suffered from vague, inconclusive digestive
ailments for six months and I didn't want these ailments exacerbated by
the change in diet. Trina was very helpful, encouraging me every step of
the way and assuring me that I was doing the best for my cats' health. Once
I realized that my cats wouldn't die from an occasional missed meal and
that a wholesome, nutritious diet is the basis of good health (something
Trina had been gently trying to convince me of all along) my determination
to ensure a successful transition increased. My determination paid off because
they are now eating 100% HM4L and loving it!! In just 6 weeks, the results
are amazing: their coats are soft and shiny, their eyes bright, all digestive
ailments disappeared, and my 15 year old is more playful than she's been

It has been 3 weeks since I put some of my cats on your diet [Home Made 4 Life]. I have already seen really good
results. On my ocicats - they are already "glowing with sheen" and
it is fabulous. And their body 
density
feels fantastic. On my maine coon kittens - they are weaning beautifully
and love it. On the several cats of both breeds who were a bit "paunchy"
- that is now gone. Also - the smell is lessened in the litter box..
I have one male ocicat that I'm feeding nothing but Home Made 4 Life.
He has really minimal waste in his box and he looks fabulous. I would
say 75 percent of my cats like it a whole lot and the rest just aren't interested.
The not interested cats are adults. all the young cats really like

My shi tzu
who is going to be 8 years old on February 14, 2001 was diagnosed with
sudden retina deficiency syndrome 3 years ago this summer. In short my
dog was blind and for no apparent physical reason. The eye specialist
at the referral clinic had said he had seen this happen before and that
this happens to many breeds and not one specific type or at any specific
age. My heart broke to see my dog walk into walls and furniture and not
be able to orient himself outside when I took him for a walk.
Just this past fall 2000 my dog developed red on the whites of his eyes
and puss; he was walking into walls again. Lost his appetite, was sleeping
all the time. His disposition was one of a very sick dog going downhill.
I thought that my dog had some disease and that he was going to die. When
I took him to the veterinarian, some blood was taken for some tests. Thank
goodness the results were good. No diabetes or anything foreign in the
blood. I asked the veterinarian if maybe his condition was related to
his food. The veterinarian said that it is very possible as the veterinarian
is holistic and natural remedy oriented. He did not recommend to change
his diet at the time. He gave me some drops and cream to put in the dog's
eyes and until today I have never even opened up the cream and drops.
A couple of days later I went to the health food store and picked up a
copy of Vitality magazine and over that weekend there I saw an ad for
Pets 4 Life and made the call to Trina and explained the whole story surrounding
my dog becoming blink. I purchased "Home Made 4 Life" dog food
and the rest is history. In only two days I began to see the improvement
in my dog. His eyes immediately began to clear up and I might add that
he developed a huge cyst (bump) on his back and he was sensitive when
someone touched him there. The cyst began to immediately diminish in size
and his strength and spirit came back to life. Miraculous and true!
Approximately 3 months later, my dog Rolex is a completely different dog.
His coat and skin is healthy, his eyes cleared up completely, he still
has his good days and bad days with his eyesight, however he is much better.
He actually looks forward to feeding time because he just loves the taste
of "Home Made 4 Life". The cyst on his back is gone completely
and in general the dog feels and looks 100% better. Of course as an owner
and witness to this miraculous healing I feel better knowing my dog is
getting nutritionally fed everyday and it is homemade with whole foods
so he is getting a complete and healthy diet.

other house animals and for the hope and inspiration you instill in people
